In operating our academic admissions gateway and student portals, we collect and process the following categories of data:
- Identification and Contact Data: Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, passport or national identity number, postal address, email address, and telephone number.
- Academic and Educational Credentials: Prior diplomas, transcripts, language proficiency certificates, CV, and statement of purpose.
- Technical and Browsing Data: IP address, browser type, referral URLs, and session timestamps collected automatically for system security and audit compliance.
3. Legal Basis and Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed pursuant to Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the following purposes:
- Evaluating prospective student applications and admission eligibility;
- Facilitating university enrollment and issuing official letters of acceptance;
- Assisting with pre-enrollment visa verification via the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Universitaly portal;
- Complying with statutory Italian higher education reporting and audit obligations.

We apply rigorous administrative, technical, and physical safeguards - including SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption and restricted role-based access - to protect personal data against unauthorized disclosure or destruction. Academic records are maintained in accordance with Italian university preservation statutes.
